12-й Danube Participation Day

The Institute for Danube Research announces that on 4 November 2025, in Sarajevo (Bosnia and Herzegovina), within the framework of the 14th Annual Forum of the EU Strategy for the Danube Region (EUSDR), the 12th Danube Participation Day will take place.

This flagship event will focus on the role of local communities in:

further EU enlargement,

democratic transformation,

sustainable development of the Danube Region.

The program includes panel discussions, interactive World Café sessions, the Danube Participation Agora, and various networking opportunities for activists, experts, and policymakers.

The Institute highlights the importance of Ukrainian communities’ participation, as their experience in decentralization and cross-border cooperation brings valuable perspectives to the European discourse.
