14th Annual Forum of the EU Strategy for the Danube Region (EUSDR) to be held in Sarajevo
The 14th Annual Forum of the EU Strategy for the Danube Region will take place in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, on 5–6 November 2025.
It is organised by the Bosnian EUSDR Presidency, represented by the Directorate for European Integration and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in close cooperation with the European Commission and the Danube Strategy Point.
The Forum will serve as a high-level platform for dialogue and cooperation among representatives of EU institutions, national and local governments, academia, and civil society.
Key topics:
- EU enlargement and candidate-country support;
- brain drain, skills shortages, and youth unemployment;
- education, training, and demographic change;
- green and digital transition.
The Forum will be preceded by the 12th Danube Participation Day on 4 November 2025, organised by Priority Area 10 of the EUSDR and the Danube Civil Society Forum.
Comment by the Institute of Danube Research:
The EUSDR Forum 2025 will provide a vital space for dialogue on EU integration, recovery and sustainable development across the Danube–Black Sea region, strengthening cooperation between EU and partner countries, including Ukraine.
