Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi Port Expands International Cooperation in the Danube Region

The Ukrainian Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi Sea Port, an important transport hub of the Danube region, has signed a memorandum of cooperation with Batumi International Container Terminals LLC (BICT, Georgia).
This is the port’s second memorandum within the framework of the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route (TITR, “Middle Corridor”). The initiative is aimed at increasing cargo flows through the Danube region and strengthening its role as a key logistics bridge between Europe and Asia.
BICT operates container, ferry and general cargo terminals in the port of Batumi. The new agreement envisages the launch of a ferry line between the Ukrainian and Georgian ports, as well as the development of a road-rail ferry complex, enhancing the competitiveness of the Danube–Black Sea region.
