Christmas and New Year Greetings

On behalf of the Institute of Danube Research and on my own behalf, I would like to extend my warmest greetings to you on the occasion of Christmas and the New Year.

The year coming to an end has once again tested Ukraine and Europe as a whole — a year marked by responsibility, solidarity and joint decisions. In these challenging times, the support of our European partners and donors remains a cornerstone of resilience, development and the protection of shared democratic values in the Danube and Black Sea regions.

We deeply appreciate your trust, continued cooperation and contribution to building sustainable, secure and well-connected regions across Europe. We are confident that in the year ahead our joint efforts — in transport, environmental protection, regional development and European integration — will deliver even more tangible results.

May Christmas bring peace, hope and human warmth, and may the New Year become a year of stability, recovery and new opportunities for our countries and communities.
