The ROMAN LEGACY project has officially started

The ROMAN LEGACY project has officially started – a major initiative uniting 10 Danube countries to create a new European cultural route and theme region along the Roman Danube Limes.
Over the next 3 years, the project will connect the western segment of the Limes (Germany, Austria, Slovakia – UNESCO World Heritage Site) with the eastern segment (Croatia, Serbia, Bulgaria, Romania – UNESCO Tentative List).
The aim is to highlight shared European heritage, foster socio-economic growth in the Danube region, and unlock new opportunities for cultural tourism.
The partnership includes 19 full partners and 35 associated partners, representing leading institutions and communities from across the Danube area.
ROMAN LEGACY demonstrates how historical heritage can become a living resource for education, cultural exchange, and sustainable development.
